Enjoy a project based art class where we will explore a variety of art materials/mediums.  Clay handbuilding, wheel-throwing, collage, and mixed media are some of the mediums we will discover.  Individualized projects and ideas are encouraged and will be put into action.  This class is designed for multiple levels, but most importantly to encourage a love for art in a super fun atmosphere!

Cancelled - Endurance Running for Fitness

Camp will be designed for those interested in getting fit through endurance exercise. We will primarily be running 30-90 minutes at a time, but we will also incorporate cycling, circuit training, and core body exercises. The class may meet at other sites (Britt Woods, Roxy Anne...) on occasion to vary the routes.

SAT Prep

Fee: $225.00 + $40.00 Materials

The class includes over 17 hours of instruction; utilizes two SAT prep books, including the Official SAT Study Guide published by the College Board, and numerous handouts, all of which students take home; and covers every SAT skill set including sentence completions, critical reading, writing skills, the SAT essay, geometry, algebra I, Algebra II, data analysis, probability, and statistics.

Do you get nervous speaking in front of others—whether because of shyness, poor speaking voice, distracting habits, or the inability to think on your feet? Overcome these impediments!  Seize the opportunity this summer to practice public speaking in a workshop setting.  Learn all about voice, poise, body language, and eye contact-- and prepare to launch your public speaking career!

Cancelled - Advanced Chemistry Prep

Planning to take A.P. Chemistry or the Chemistry SAT subject test?  Prepare yourself!  We will cover some of the more difficult subjects these courses cover: Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Kinetics and Acid-Base neutralizations.  Each day will include instruction, demonstrations and problem solving.
