Cancelled - Geologic Exploration

Date: July 19-23           Time: 9-4 PM

Grades: Entering 4th-6th

Adventure.  Exploration.  Spend the week learning about rocks and minerals, cave formations, and other geologic formations.  Then travel to Lake Shasta where you will visit the caverns for a real caving experience and exploration of geologic formations.  While at Lake Shasta, you will camp overnight, explore the trails, and much more.

Cancelled - Biking the Valley

Date: July 5-9   Time: 9-12 PM

Grades: Entering 7th-8th

Fee: $175.00

Spend each day of the week enjoying the outdoors while riding your bicycle along some of the Valley’s trails and pathways.  The first day will start with an introduction to biking safety and a short ride.  Every day after, the class will ride a variety of beginner/novice trails and pathways.  Note: Participants need to provide their own mountain bicycle, fitted helmet, water bottle, and appropriate clothing.

Explore the great outdoors of Southern Oregon throughout the week.  You will spend the week hiking Table Rock, traveling underground at the Oregon Caves, camping overnight at Crater Lake, and more.
