Lava Beds Caving Trip- Outdoor Club Trip
Date: Saturday, November 13
Time: Meet at 7 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Parking Lot. Approx. return: 8:30 p.m.
A very popular trip that is open to both upper- and middle-school students. Travel with the Outdoor Program to Lava Beds National Monument of Northern California (near Tule Lake). You will spend the day hiking and crawling through caves formed by ancient volcanic lava flows. The adventurous day of exploring underground is then followed by a pizza fest in Klamath Falls on the way back.
