Crusaders vs. Rogue River

The St. Mary's Boys Varsity Soccer team followed up on their commanding win Tuesday with another decisive victory Saturday against the visiting Rogue River Chieftains at Lithia and Driveway fields. The Crusaders displayed their signature possession-styled play and went into half-time up six-nil behind two-goal efforts from Christopher Kranenburg, Leo Cronk, and Jose Mondesi-Munoz.  Connor Gibbs and Davis Jones put in two more after the half for the early 8-0 exit by rule, and the Crusaders' sophomore goalie had a clean sheet.  Classy Rogue River coaches Tom Bigboy and Rob Isom have resurrected a program from the ashes of Covid and have earned tremendous respect from their fellow coaches in the Southern Oregon community.
